About Christian Lee

Reigning ONE Lightweight World Champion Christian Lee comes from a family of true martial artists. His older sister, ONE Women’s Atomweight Champion Angela Lee, is already an international star with ONE Championship, and his parents are both black belts in various disciplines who began teaching their children techniques from a very early age.

A highly decorated martial artist himself, Lee is the youngest member of the famed Evolve Fight Team in Singapore, but is no less accomplished than his elite peers. Despite his age, Lee already holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Total Defense System and is an astonishingly early achiever. In fact, he was voted Most Outstanding Athlete at the 2013 FILA World Championship after winning six world titles across the disciplines of BJJ, pankration, mixed martial arts, and submission grappling.

Since making his professional debut in 2015, Lee has competed several times for ONE Championship to great success. He quickly established himself as the most prolific finisher in ONE history, and he has emerged as an incredibly exciting young talent to watch. In 2019, Lee made history. He knocked out Japanese legend Shinya Aoki to become the youngest-ever male mixed martial arts World Champion, standing along with his sister Angela as the only sibling mixed martial arts World Champions in history.

He also stepped up on short notice to face Dagi Arslanaliev on short notice at ONE: CENTURY PART I and defeated the Turkish phenom to become the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Champion.

Now a four-time ONE Lightweight World Champion, Lee will aim for double-gold status at ONE on Prime Video 4 when he challenges for the vacant ONE Welterweight World Title against former divisional king Kiamrian Abbasov.
