Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo

Growing up in the favelas of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo began his journey through sports as an avid soccer player. He even competed professionally at the youth level. At the age of 14, though, he transitioned to boxing before moving on to Muay Thai.

Lobo quickly developed a passion for “the art of eight limbs” and dedicated himself to becoming one of Brazil’s best practitioners. He won a local title before moving to Thailand in 2018 to follow his Muay Thai dreams.

The Brazilian Muay Thai Champion then established himself as an elite striker, competing against some of the best fighters in Thailand’s stadium circuit.

“Demolition Man” made his ONE debut in 2020, earning a name for himself with a hard-fought split-decision victory over Thai standout Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon. His success continued with a win over former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion challenger Rodlek PK Saenchai.

The Brazilian almost reached the pinnacle of the sport in 2022 when he battled Nong-O Hama for the latter’s ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title. Like many before him, though, he succumbed to the Thai’s technical brilliance.

Lobo began his road to redemption at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video this past April, knocking out Saemapetch Fairtex in the third round. Next, he will get another shot at divisional gold when he challenges two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty for the bantamweight Muay Thai belt in the main event of ONE Fight Night 19 on Prime Video.
