Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan

Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan’s relentless style has made him an instant hit in ONE Championship. But the Dutch-Turkish dynamo will not rest on his laurels until he has the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title wrapped around his waist.

Ozcan, who competes out of Valkenswaard, Netherlands, has enjoyed plenty of success in the European kickboxing scene. He has defeated several notable names in the sport, such as Andy Souwer and Davit Kiria, en route to claiming two championship belts in the Enfusion organization.

Following his success on the continent, Ozcan joined ONE Championship in 2020 with the intention of becoming the top fighter in the promotion’s featherweight kickboxing division – which is highly regarded as the most stacked division in all of combat sports.

Unfortunately, he lost to multiple-time Kickboxing World Champion Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong in his promotional debut in October 2021, which brought an end to his remarkable 13-fight winning streak. However, he bounced back with a convincing display against Enriko “The Hurricane” Kehl in February 2022 and immediately put the division’s top dogs on notice.

Ozcan, who earned the #5-ranked featherweight kickboxing contender’s spot, packs plenty of power in his kicks, and his wild hooks and overhands from close range have put opponents to sleep in the past.

At ONE Fight Night 11 on June 9, “Turbine” looks to make his loudest statement yet by taking out former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn.
